So I just finished my freshman year of college.
Wow.
It was awesome, yeah it was school and so it sucked in that aspect, but the people were amazing.
especially my western lit love Jared.
omg. he was beautiful.
I'm so glad it summer though and I can't wait to start working more and get some money...

Pat and I have been together 2 years today.
holy crap! it does not feel like its been 2 years.
I applied and interviewed for a job as a nanny with the organization College Nannies and Tutors (which just opened up in the state, it's in like 20 others)
I got the job.
As of now i'm just an "on-call" nanny. so if someone needs a nanny they'd just call college nannies and tutors and then they'd e-mail/text me and the other 4 people they hired and who ever replies first gets the job.
Then i'll be placed with a family for the summer. They are still interviewing families.
We had orientation the other day and got a lot of cool stuff and filled out a lot of paper work. Lisa said they she interviewed like 35 people and only hired us 5 that were there, but they are still taking applications.
it should be cool, i'm excited.

My cat Witey died late thursday night.
I was a complete wreck friday.
He was sick for a while and we all knew things were coming to an end, but idk. As long as I can remember he was always around (he was 18) and now he's not it's weird.
We buried him in our front yard. My mom wanted my dad to bring him to the potter league, but my dad wouldn't allow it. Witey was his best friend in the whole world. I had the worst dream that I woke up and saw a raccoon or a coyote (I can't remember which it was) digging at his grave and I ran outside and smashed his head in with the shovel. It was horrible.
Pat has been a great help with everything though. He truly is amazing.
I've been having trouble with anatomy and chemistry, and I've been reconsidering what I want to do with my life. For the last 4 or 5 years nursing has been everything I've wanted to do, and I don't want to give it up, but I'm so afraid that I'm not going to make it into the program. Luckily Pat has helped to convince me not to change my mind and he's been helping me study bones, while I read over his papers and help him study for his criminal justice class. My family has also been really supportive especially since I'm the first person in my family to go to college.
Other than Witey and how wack school is, this weekend was okay. Valentines day was cute. Pat got me a HUGE bear, a box of chocolates, some new nose studs and an AWESOME little mermaid card. Instead of going out to dinner like last year, we just went to the movies then went to his house and just hung out. We saw Taken it was pretty good. I liked Push better though, maybe because Chris Evans is wicked cute. Also Push made me realize what an amazing actress Dakota Fanning is, I really hope everything works out and she plays Jane in New Moon. I think she'll be great for the part.
Well I guess I'll go so some homework or read a little bit before desperate housewives.

well it's been a while.
Christmas was amazing.
School started last week. It's gayyy!
I can't deal with my anatomy professor and his teaching style. He speaks really fast that no one can really take notes, and he basically refuses to repeat himself. So I take notes the best I can then I just take notes from the book. (which cost me $175.25!)
Chem lecture so far isn't bad, but chem lecture sucks. Our instructor lives and breathes chemistry, and never wants us to finish early, only we all rush through it because most of us have classes straight from 8am till 3pm. I really hate tuesdays.
I think psych 230 (human development) is my favorite class. Our professor is amazing, and she tells stories all the time which make everything we're learning so much easier to remember. Plus she whipped out her cell phone twice yesterday to complain about the ice and demanded that someone come down and salt it.
I'm nervous about this semester because bio 231, chem 106 and psych 230 are all supposed to be hard and they recommend that you don't take them all in one semester but I am. eek. I guess we'll just have to see how everything plays out.
Pats birthday is monday, he's going to be 19. jeeze we're getting old!

So yesterday I had my last final. I'm officially finished with my first semester of college. YAY
I will miss Chelsea and Brittni over the break, especially thursdays when we would go to Donovan before our labs and eat grilled cheese.
but we'll have next semester. and Chelsea and I have every class together next semester because the care giving soctety did our schedules for us.
I can't wait till Christmas! it'll be Pat and my second Christmas together and I can't wait to give him his presents.
I think I will kill people from summit entertainment if they don't re-cast my lover taylor lautner for "new moon"
and if anyone likes historical fiction (i'm obsessed) i recommend "Shadows and Strongholds" and "Lords of the White Castle" by Elizabeth Chadwick. she's amazing.

Well it's been a while.
School's okay.
I've made two good friends, Chelsea (who's in the caregiving society with me) and Brittni who's in Bio and Chem lecture with me.
I'm doing really well in my writing class, bio and psych but I'm not doing so hot in Chem lecture. I've been doing great in lab though, so I'm glad it's 25% of my lecture grade.
We started dissecting out fetal pigs in bio on thursday. Chelsea didn't really want to do it so I basically made all of the incisions and everything. It's sad that they took this baby pig out of its mommy for science, and then the mom was sent o slaughter. But I really think I want to do OR nursing, so I'll need to deal.
I'm nervous that I'm not going to get into the nursing program because of chem. But I've started studying more and doing more of the homework to get a better understanding of the material.
I'm excited for thanksgiving because everyone will be home<3
I also can't wait for Christmas! I already bought Patrick his gift and I got my mom this really cool candle set when I was in Burlington VT.

College has been great so far.
I love RIC so much, it's amazing.
I practically live in the library between classes and while I'm waiting for Pat to get out of class so we can go home.
It's hard making friends when you commute, there are a few people who I talk to now and again, but idk... I only have one like "friend" her name is Chelsea and she's really nice.
Things are great, especially in WRTG 100, I got an A- on the rough draft of my first paper!
Psych is sooo boring, and I love bio cause my professor is amazing. Chem is okay Dr. Knowlton is really cool, and she explains things really well. plus right now wer doing electronic configurations, so its easy.

wow it's been forever since i've updated this.
well, what's happened...
i graduated high school,
and i saw stephen lynch last night.... but that's pretty much it.
this summer is going by so quick. abby leaves for norwich in like 45 days and i have orientation on wednesday. eeek
and tonight i went to inflicting ink and spoke to marc the guy who did matts tattoo about getting one for me. i want a butterfly on my foot. not a girly pretty butterfly but something abstract so i gave him this drawing as an idea he can play with and after he has it all drawn up he's going to call me so i can check it out and then make an appointment to actually get it.

the last week has been amazing and things aren't even over yet.
tuesday the 3rd was the last day of classes, then we had finals (i only had 2)
so i did nothing at all but hangout with friends
monday was pat and i's 15 months. we spent the whole day in his pool just relaxing.
yesterday was six flags. 7 of us went me, pat, matt moore, matt tovino, kyle, laine and abby
it was probably 105* but that didn't stop us. we have so much fun and there was like no one there so we barely had to wait in lines
today is senior prom. i can't wait it should be amazing
and then friday is graduation.
life is good.

the ap literature and composition exam was thursday, and retarded.
ap psychology is tomorrow and is going to suck, seeing as how silva didn't teach us anything, and then decided to give us a study packet today.
AHHHHHH!
i just won a $1,000 scholarship.
i'm soooo excited
i just hope i get even like two more.
i guess i should fill out the last three i have.

i went to holy smokes at like 6 and got my nose pierced.
i love it.
it didn't hurt at all when he pierced it, but it hurt like a bitch for like an hour after.
it's fine now but it feels kinda awkward when the twisted part on the inside moves around.
i guess it'll take some getting used to.

Saturday was the accepted freshman day at RIC. I went up with my family and met up with Pat and his mom. It was awesome, I had so much fun, and I'm really excited for next year. I was given a recommended course schedule for nursing, and I wasn't excited to see chemistry on there. Also books for nursing classes are upwards of $250. I hate that they are so expensive.
Monday Pat got his wisdom teeth pulled. He wasn't very happy, but I've been taking good care of him, but on top of all of that his car kinda died.
and possibly friday Pat, Matt and I are going to go up to Wrentham, if so I'll be souped, but yeah....

for the last 13 months, i feel like i haven't had a single day to myself.
even when i get upset with patrick and ask for just 5 minutes to calm down or i just leave to go on a walk he doesn't let me. he follows me and keeps asking questions, it's so annoying.
at times i feel like the single life is looking pretty good, but i know i'll die if i don't have him. i'm just so confused, i try and explain that i just need time to myself every now and then and he just doesn't get it. i try to get him to go out with matt and tim and do a guys thing and he doesn't he just sits at home alone until i call him. he's like a child.
